Mother's Day Exhibition 26th April - 1st June 2025
Maleny Art Direct proudly presents renowned Sunshine Coast artist Vanessa Perske, alongside her emerging artist daughter, Lais Perske and the talented Viera Keogh of Floral Twist, as they come together to celebrate women throughout the month of Mother's Day. This exhibition honours the strength, talent, and remarkable achievements of women, acknowledging their boundless potential. We have moved beyond traditional expectations and roles, recognizing that women are so much more than what what was envisioned. Through this exhibition, we express our deep gratitude and admiration for the incredible women who inspire and shape the world around us. The exhibition is free admission and runs until 26th April- 1st June, 2025.

Congratulations to Michelle, she’s my pic for the best 2021 host of “Where In The World Is Emu? Experiment.” A big thank you to Michelle & all of the other hosts for spoiling Emu this year! Michelle has won herself an original emu painting and the other hosts a print. If you’d like to be a host in 2022, keep an eye out!

. Many of you saw my Daughter’s portrait of “Uncle Jack”, well, her school purchased it from her to display in their office. From the funds received, she chose to donate it to a local family who are having a rough trot. I just love how paintings can touch people in so many different ways.
